Municipality of Burgas starts with a new educational program

🚀 Municipality of Burgas launches a new educational program. It is called “Summer Refresh” and is developed in collaboration with the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” and the Regional Education Department – Burgas. The program aims to work with teachers who lead self-preparation classes in the initial course and, through a unified methodology, to review the material studied in the previous academic year.

💡 It has been observed that a significant part of the difficulties students face in mastering new material is due to gaps made in previous years. When these knowledge gaps are not well addressed at the beginning of the year, difficulties arise in mastering the new educational material.

✅ The program will review the material studied in the previous year. Thus, if students have gaps, their knowledge will be refreshed. This will allow teachers in regular classes in the initial course to smoothly move through the curriculum. This will improve the opportunities for reading with understanding and mastering the study material in various subjects.

✅ Teachers leading self-preparation classes will undergo training at the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov.” Teaching aids are provided for each teacher and each child they will work with.

✅ After the completion of this program, monitoring will be conducted to determine how it has affected students’ mastery of the new study material in their respective classes.

✅ The “Summer Refresh” program is fully funded by the Municipality of Burgas and covers all schools, including private ones if they wish to participate.
