Telerik Academy – the largest free IT initiative for 3rd to 12th-graders, has announced they are accepting new students for the 2023/2024 school year. More than 2,000 students will be able to study programming and digital technologies free of charge in 100 schools in 40 places in Bulgaria. Every student can participate in this amazing initiative, even if they don’t have any knowledge about technology. You can apply through Telerik Academy’s website until 5th October.

The training will be held during the school year and will be 72 hours long in total. The programs in Burgas are implemented in cooperation with the Center for Visual and Augmented Reality “Virteon Burgas”, “St. Kliment Ochridski” school, “Konstantin Petkanov” school, and Burgas Municipality.

Petar Sharkov, executive director of Telerik Academy:

“I’m happy that we will continue to prepare the next generations for the digital future. Since 2017, Telerik Academy has opened 630 schools in 50 places, and we have accepted over 14,000 students! During those years, we have learned that students have different interests in the field of technology, and teachers need modern learning materials. The schools aim to provide free-time activities to engage the student’s interests. That is why we started integrating programs in the schools in the country. In 2023-2024, we will open 100 free schools.”
