📜The “Stoyan Popov” competition is for young opera singers up to 37 years old and will take place from October 17 to 21, 2023, in the hall of the State Opera – Burgas. In 2023, we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Maestro Stoyan Popov (born on October 21 – the date of the gala concert of the laureates). On October 17, at 6:00 pm in the foyer of the Burgas Opera, the official opening of the photo exhibition “90 Years Stoyan Popov” will take place.
🎹The competition will be held in two rounds, during which the candidates will perform on the stage of the State Opera – Burgas accompanied by a piano.
📌The draw will take place on October 17. Participants who fail to appear in the specified order will be disqualified. The competition program includes October 18, 19, and 20, with the final concert of the laureates on October 21 with the orchestra of the State Opera – Burgas, on the birthday of Maestro Stoyan Popov. No changes to the submitted competition program are allowed.
