In Anton Strashimirov Primary School, New Sports Facilities Were Unveiled

🏀 Today, Anton Strashimirov Primary School officially opened brand new sports facilities. The event turned into a true celebration for students, teachers, parents, former alumni, and sports figures. Before the renovation, the old asphalt surface did not meet modern requirements for physical education classes and sports activities. The renovated courtyard now includes a football field with artificial turf and a combined sports area for basketball and volleyball. It is equipped with specialized outdoor sports flooring, basketball hoops, and a volleyball net.

⚽ Over 300 students from the educational institution tested the capabilities of the new sports facilities today, participating in demonstration matches of football and basketball. The children also had a volleyball training session with professionals from VC “Deya Sport” and VC “Neftekhimik 2010.”

📌 The sports event was attended by the school director, Diyana Petkova, the owner of VC “Deya Sport,” Dr. Alexander Madzhurov, basketball legends Dimo Kostov and Zornitsa Kostova, and others.

✅ The renovated gymnasium a year ago and the new sports facilities will provide quality and modern conditions used by over 900 students for outdoor sports activities during physical education classes and in their free time.

✅ The next good news for Anton Strashimirov Primary School is the upcoming comprehensive external and internal renovation of the school building, which will start very soon. It will include all necessary measures for energy efficiency, roof repair, window replacement, new plumbing, electrical and heating installations, new sanitary facilities, the construction of a panoramic external elevator, and a modern STEM center.
