Українська🎥 During the short film festival in Clermont-Ferrand in February 2024, the Euro Connection forum will take place, offering producers and their companies the opportunity to find partners for their projects. The Creative Europe – MEDIA offices in France, Bulgaria, and other countries are participating in organizing this event as national coordinators.
At the request of the organizers, the MEDIA Office of the Creative Europe Desk in Sofia will organize a competition for the nomination of a project. The nominated project will be subsequently considered by an international jury, which must select 11 projects from all nominees. The producers of the selected projects will be invited to participate in “Euro Connection” (covering 160 euros for travel expenses, providing a hotel for 4 nights and meals, and free access to events at the Short Film Market). They will have the opportunity to participate in pitching sessions at the forum, organize one-on-one meetings with interested parties, and participate in networking events.
To participate in the competition, a candidacy must be submitted, including:
– Participation form (English)
– Synopsis and COMPLETED screenplay (English)
– Filmography of the production company (English)
– CV and filmography of the producer (English)
– CV and filmography of the director (English)
– Motivational letter from the producer and a strategy for producing the film (English)
– Director’s explanation (English)
– Confirmations of secured funding – letters of intent, confirmations, etc. (English)
– Available visual material (storyboard, locations, animation)
– If possible, a link to previous films by the producer or director
– Content (in English)
**Note:** Each producer can submit only 1 project.
