📌What is the Academy?

The Academy for Performing Arts “Articus” is a year-round intensive academy for acquiring knowledge and skills in three main areas of performing arts – theater, music, and dance.

📌What is the school’s program?

The academy’s program will cover the study of three main modules – theater, music, and dance. Participants can choose how many modules they want to participate in. The academy’s duration is planned for one calendar year and will be divided into three main modules, each lasting for 4 calendar months. Participants in the academy will have the opportunity to gain professional knowledge and skills related to the planning, preparation, implementation, and dissemination of projects in the three main modules.

📌Who is it for?

The academy is intended for non-professionals and enthusiasts in the field, with no age restrictions.

📌When will it take place?

◾ The academy starts on November 29, 2022, with an opening event, and the program activities begin on December 3, 2022, continuing until November 2023 with a short break during the summer months.

◾ Activities will be held on two days each week – Saturday and Tuesday.

◾ Each Saturday session will last for 4 hours between 12 PM and 4 PM. Each Tuesday session will last for 2 hours between 7 PM and 9 PM.

◾ In January, May, and October 2023, schedules for rehearsals of the three final products from each module will be prepared – performance, concert, and dance show.

📌Is participation paid?

Participation in the Academy is entirely free. The project is funded under the “Support for Private Organizations in the Field of Amateur Arts” program of the National Fund “Culture.”
