The Burgas Branch of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” opened a club “Cool Japan”. All fans of the Japanese language and culture who are between 12 and 18 years old are welcome to join the club. There, they will have the opportunity to meet like-minded people, have fun, and learn from people who have achieved their dreams in Japan.
The club is a joint initiative with the Department of Japanese Studies at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology.
The meetings will be held once a month after you sign up for free. Some of the activities that the lecturers and students from the Department of Japanese Studies will do are discussions, debates, watching movies, competitions, Kahoot, and virtual tours. Also, they will talk about some topics – anime, Japanese series, samurai and gamers.
