Second edition of the international biennial Via Carpathia

You have the opportunity to participate in the second edition of the international biennial Via Carpathia 2023, organized by gallery IMO in Stary Sącz. This art event is dedicated to modern European art. The competition is for artists of up to 45 years of age. Painters from the regions related to Via Carpathia can participate. The countries part of Via Carpathia are Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Greece. We accept works made with classic and new techniques, except for images generated by AI. Deadline for submissions of projects: 1st August – 30th September 2023 at viacarpatia@imogaleria.pl.

The cash prize is 48,000 zloti (approximately 10,000 euros). The 45 painters whose works will be part of the exhibition will receive 300 zloti (about 67 euros). The motto of this year’s edition is the title of the poem “A Song on the End of the World” by Czeslaw Milosz.
