The Youth International Center turned green on St. Nicholas Day

On the holiday of Burgas, the team of the Youth International Center and some guests planted plants in the center in Meden Rudnik. The innovative green decision in the building was supported by Burgas Municipality and the EU’s policy for a modern and resource-efficient environment.

The Deputy Mayor of Education, Health, Social Activities, and Youth Policies, Mihail Nenov and some young people helped.

There is more good news about the Youth Center. At the moment, their team is getting ready for the opening of the center. Once it’s opened, there will be even more opportunities for education on democratic values, human rights, youth participation, and the social rights of vulnerable minorities. These objectives were set out in the National Youth Strategy and have the Council of Europe’s Quality Label.
