Burgas has 8 nominations for the “Building of the Year” competition

This year Burgas was nominated for 8 projects in the “Building of the Year” competition, 4 of which were created by Burgas Municipality. The rest are private. At the moment, the nominations are being rated by the jury that will award the winners. Anyone anyone can give an assessment. From 1st to 13th December, you will be able to vote on the website of the contest! The award ceremony is on 14th December.

“I wish all nominations in Burgas success! Congratulations to the teams that created all of the buildings. I’m always happy and proud when Burgas is honoured in creative competitions!” said the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov.

The nominations in the contest in Burgas are:

–         In the category “Social infrastructure – CULTURE”, 3 out of the 5 nominations are for buildings in Burgas – the second stage of the Aquae Calidae Expo Center, the renovated Ethnographic Museum, and the new planetarium:

–         In the category “Projects related to the development of cities”, the new park next to the Oncology Center in Burgas was nominated:

All of the above were built by Burgas Municipality. However, there are also a few nominations for private buildings.
