Join the quiz dedicated to the new anaerobic facility in Burgas and win a prize!

In connection with the completion of the project for the construction of an anaerobic facility for processing separately collected biodegradable waste, a “Street Quiz” will take place on October 5th, starting at 4:00 PM, in front of the Cultural Center NHK in Burgas.

The quiz will include questions related to the rules of separate waste collection in households, the color-coding of respective containers, the benefits of separate collection and its impact on climate change, the perception of waste as a resource, and models of responsible consumption. Small prizes will be awarded.

Similar events will be held in Pomorie and Nessebar on October 6th.

Project No. BG16M1OP002-2.004-0002 for the construction of the anaerobic facility is implemented under Operational Program “Environment 2014-2020,” supported by the European Regional Development Fund.

Its main goal is to reduce the amount of landfilled municipal waste by providing additional capacity for recycling through anaerobic treatment of separately collected biodegradable waste in the Burgas region.
