Burgas Branch of Sofia University Opens the New Academic Year

👨‍🎓 On October 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., the Burgas branch of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will open the academic year 2023/2024. The ceremonial event will take place in the courtyard of the NHK Cultural Center.

🎵 The student anthem “Gaudeamus Igitur” will be performed by the chamber choir of the Department of Music and Multimedia Technologies at the Faculty of Education and Arts Sciences. The festive program for the opening of the first academic year in the Burgas branch will continue with a holy water blessing for health and the presentation of student ID cards to freshmen.

✅ In 2023, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” celebrates three important events – 135 years since the founding of Alma Mater, 100 years of the Theological Faculty, and the opening of a branch in Burgas.
