The competition aims to support people who compose music to express themselves. The organizers (production company “Palms Music” and the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”) want to promote Bulgarian music and help young talented musicians start their careers.
The first-place winner will receive 5000 lv, the runner-up – 3000 lv, and the prize for third place is 1000 lv. One of the participants will also win the audience award (1000 lv), which was funded by Telematic Interactive Bulgaria.
The songs should be either jazz, film, theatre, or classical. The winners will be announced during the ceremony on October 27 (Niccolò Paganini’s birthday). The competition is for composers who are over 16 years old. The songs must be sent in an uncompressed audio file – wav or aiff.
The participants in the competition must send their songs to office@palmsmusic.bg by September 20. More information about the competition – here.
