📚🖋️ This year, the Municipality of Burgas will celebrate National Bulgarian Enlighteners Day on November 1st with a program of various events and initiatives. It starts with a campaign for voluntary and altruistic blood donation under the motto “Donate Blood and Be an Example!” The campaign will run from November 1st to 3rd, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Transfusion Hematology Department of the University Multiprofile Hospital Burgas, after prior registration and scheduling. This initiative is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Burgas, the University Multiprofile Hospital Burgas, and the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria – Burgas (AMSB-Burgas) with the aim of promoting blood donation, increasing community involvement, and attracting new donors. All consumables used during blood donation are individual, sterile, and for single use. The procedures are painless and do not pose any health risks to the donor. It is important to note that it is recommended to be well-nourished and well-hydrated before donating blood.
