Starting the Second Edition of “Sport for Every Burgas Child”

🏐 The second edition of the campaign “Sport for Every Burgas Child” will kick off today at 1:00 PM in the yard of “Elin Pelin” Primary School. All third-grade students from all schools in the “Meden Rudnik” neighborhood will participate, including “Elin Pelin” Primary School, “Nayden Gerov” Primary School, “Petko Rosen” High School, and “Konstantin Petkanov” High School.

⚾ Within two months during the last school year, the campaign started with third graders in the first 7 Burgas schools. This school year, the goal is to involve 2000 Burgas students from all 31 Burgas schools who will benefit from the knowledge and training provided by talented coaches and mentors. The mentors will help the children develop a love for sports and pay attention to their motor skills.

🎾 Mentors for this school year will include Valeria Docheva, Tzanko Tzankov, and Kiril Tanev. Their goal is to get more Burgas children interested in sports and lead an active lifestyle.

🏀 The initiators of the program are the Utopia Garden restaurant, GOTi Family & Kitchen restaurants, the Municipality of Burgas, and the Regional Education Office – Burgas.
