European Railway Photo Contest

📷The Community of European Railways and Infrastructure Companies (CER) traditionally organizes the European Railway Photo Contest, in which railway transport enthusiasts in Bulgaria can participate, according to BDZ. The aim of the competition is to stimulate the creative thinking of train travelers and to promote the positive image of railways in Europe as a sustainable and safe mode of transportation, presented as an integral part of a more ecological, intelligent, and connected transport system.

📜As every year, 12 photos highlighting the theme of the photo contest will be awarded from the submitted photos. This year’s theme is dedicated to the European Year of Skills and is called: “Demonstrating the skills of European railway photographers.”

✅Those who wish to participate in the contest can submit their photos on the official CER website at the following email address: https://www.cer.be/contest. Participants must fill out the contest registration form at this address, and for each of the photos, the date and location of the shot must be provided.

✅The deadline for submitting photos is October 1, 2023.

✅The photos of the winning participants will be published on the official CER website (http://www.cer.be/) with the names of the photographers and their countries, and the winners will receive cash prizes.

🏆In the last few editions of the contest, Bulgarian participants have traditionally been among the winners. This is one of the proofs that with active participation, the chances of Bulgarian representatives being selected among the top 12 are increased, given the unique shots they could provide.
